Carnival Celebration, Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival Cruise Line's newest ship, the Carnival Celebration is a marvel of themed entertainment engineering and a testament to the work of Carnival's uniquely talented team and partners.
We contributed to this tremendous project with the creation of The Gateway Atlas, a bespoke interactive portal that gives guests the ability to explore Carnival Cruise Line ships and destinations around the globe. The core feature of the Gateway Atlas is the Live Fleet. Every active ship in the Carnival fleet is represented on the map with real-time data and guests can discover the next destination for each ship as well as learn fun facts about new and familiar locations.
As demonstrated by the video above (courtesy of YouTube influencer, the Nauti Cruiser Travel Vlog)— along with the Live Fleet, the Gateway Atlas has several other fun features that engage and delight guests aboard the Carnival Celebration. Through a virtual pin board feature, guests can share their travel destinations on the map, allowing guests to drop pins to show where they’ve come from and traveled to, or learn more about the Carnival’s crew, their home countries and traditional dishes, while enjoying fun animated moments throughout the experience.
Beaudry Interactive and Carnival Cruise Line both value guest accessibility as a core experience design tenant. To provide the Gateway Atlas experience to as many guests as possible, we worked with an accessibility consultant to target access for guests with varied physical reach and visual ability.
