The Mini-Film Theater showcases short videos about biodiversity. The theater contains a large 80” touch screen that allows the guest to explore curated topics designed to be short “digestible” educational moments. The museum staff wanted flexibility to curate content based on current debates, new research, or simply share a great video with their guests. Staff can easily update graphics and text, upload multiple movies, and the interface adjusts accordingly, regardless of the quantity of films. An invisible control interface was built into the screen. During tours, docents have the ability to pause films to add additional content, ask questions, or emphasize key moments.
