JOB OPPORTUNITY : Graphic Designer [contract hire]
Much of the work at Beaudry Interactive is project-based. We conceive, design and develop unique location-based experiences for theme parks and attractions, cultural and art centers, and educational institutions. Our client projects vary in scale and complexity, and we rely heavily on our Visual Design team from beginning ideation and pitch into design development and through production.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER [CONTRACT HIRE]
We are looking for a talented Graphic Designer with strong visual design and production skills to help support and contribute to the creative development and production processes at Beaudry Interactive. The Graphic Designer will perform a variety of design and production tasks that varying projects will require. Responsibilities will include working directly with the Art Director on design projects and internal company initiatives. Tasks vary from creating concept art, UI designs and graphic environments, developing presentation documents, formatting and exporting programming assets, design research support, (as examples).

Work Hours: Between 9am-6pm (pst), 3-4 days onsite
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Visual Design & Desktop Publishing
-
Responsible for completion of all graphic development and production steps from concept through final design, and any associated file deliveries for print or digital applications

Assist with design research and create digital graphics that are unique and brand appropriate

Participates in meetings, discussions, and presentations as part of the development process
-
Contributes to multiple projects simultaneously while keeping on schedule
2. Iterative Collaboration, Production, and QA Testing
-
Work with Art Director to design, produce, and test creative ideas
-
Partner with Developers to develop and format assets for games and interactives
-
Able to perform various production tasks to create preliminary prototypes and comp tests
-
Able to perform extensive QA testing for games and interactives
QUALIFICATIONS
-
Must be based in Los Angeles
-
2+ years of related professional experience (experience working in themed entertainment is a plus)

Experience creating original, compelling artwork & designing digital graphics for games ( icons, graphic menu systems, environments), products, promotions and interactive platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Zoom, Slack and SharePoint a big plus!

Available digital portfolio showcasing samples of your creative development thought process, drawing styles, as well as an eye for typography, layout and current design trends in gaming and public interactives (Online portfolio or PDF portfolio formats accepted)
QUALITIES

Reliable and able to prioritize projects; good work ethic a must!

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

SPECIFIC WORK CONDITIONS

This is a hybrid position. Some work can be done remotely but candidates must be able to work on-site at b/i’s location in North Hollywood as needed during weekdays.
